Amelia Park celebrated a winning double at Bunbury on Sunday with graduates Arpione and Rally the Troops both saluting.

The Stephen Miller-trainer Arpione (Merchant Navy / Harpoon) broke through for his maiden victory at start number four following some mixed results at his previous starts. A half-brother to the talented She’s Fit (Pride of Dubai) who won the Listed Natasha Stakes and G3 WA Oaks, will now head to the paddock.

The double was secured later in the day when Rally the Troops (Blue Point / Reveille) took out Race 4 for Pearce Racing. A winner of four from fifteen starts, the gelding is the younger half brother to Perth Cup second favourite Buckets Ridge (Pride of Dubai).

Congratulations to trainers and connections on the wins of both horses.
