Sharon King | Racing Manager
Sharon has been involved with racing her entire life coming from a long line of racehorse trainers and jockeys. Her Grandfather being the legendary Reg Treffone and her father, Ian Brown, being a leading trainer in the 70’s. Her brother is leading jockey Jason Brown.
Literally living and breathing racing, Sharon has turned her passion into her dream job and she is heavily involved with both the WA Jockeys’ Association and the Australian Jockeys’ Association.
Sharon has been managing the racing and breeding interests at Amelia Park for over a decade now, and maintains her passion and desire to develop the highest quality racing and breeding business she can.
Jarrod Hall | Farm Manager
Jarrod was born into horse racing. His father a jockey in the north-west, Jarrod began his career as a show jumper before naturally transitioning to the racing game.
Spending his teens and early twenties working for leading WA trainers, Jarrod often travelled horses across the country culminating in many Group 1 successes in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales.
Jarrod then shifted his focus to running his own team. He became a successful horse breaker and educator, and has held a trainers license for over twenty years.
As the Farm Manager at Amelia Park, Jarrod brings his wealth of knowledge and experience to the daily running and management of the farm. He prides himself on his attention to detail and ability to prepare and present horses at their best.
